Justine Mitchell and Sam Troughton reprise their critically acclaimed roles as Laura and Danny, in this season’s must-see smash-hit; a tender and funny story about the first fragile moments of risking your heart and taking a chance. The Evening Standard calls David Eldridge’s masterful new play ‘the (anti) romance for 21st century London, and quite simply, magnificent.’
Please note: At the Saturday 24th March matinee performance the role of Laura will be played by Zara Plessard, due to a planned prior commitment for Justine Mitchell.

Could not hear most of play, seemed like most of theater couldn’t either
Fantastically acted price of work which kept my interest throughout. The pace of the play sometimes lagged a little bit thread living do with the tension building. I would recommend.
Fantastic, funny & real, amazing cast - shame it’s finished as would love to bring more people x
Beautifully written and performed. A poignant story, but I won’t spoil the ending for you!
Easy and straightforward purchase of tickets for a brilliant play. Shame it finishes on 24th March.
It was a really good production, but I did have difficulty hearing the actors at times.
Really loved the show - nuanced, funny and well delivered.
Good play - some good humour though it seemed to drag in some parts. Big complaint was the seriously bad seating at the Ambassador theatre - had expensive tickets : row A of the Circle and I (who am average height for a woman) could not sit with my feet straight - my knees barely fitted in the gap. My husband who's 6 foot had an even more uncomfortable time. Do not want to visit this theatre again.
Captivating, hilarious and very easy to relate to or recognise in others! Excellent performance thoroughly enjoyed it!
Very relatable performances
Personally I thought it extremely sad. Is it really the way people interact I the UK? Not a hint of flirtation. The girls as always here doing the first approach. I found it all depressing. Sorry!
Absolutely fantastic. One of the best plays we've seen in years. The characters were completely believable, I could feel every moment of their pain, vulnerability, nervousness, sadness and longing. The play was filled with moments of angst, tenderness and also a lot of humour. The audience were either in complete silence, glued to the performance of both actors, or in fits of laughter, probably comparing the performances to chapters in their own lives. At nearly 2 hrs without a break in performance, it was a masterclass from both actors. There iare only a few weeks left in this run, so make sure you get the chance to see this.
